About Sarah.
Welcome! I'm Sarah—pastor's wife, boy mom, author, biblical counselor, runner, and nature lover. I’m blessed to serve alongside my husband in ministry, teaching women and children the Word of God, but most of my time is spent mothering my four guys. All these tidbits tell you about me, but they don’t ultimately define me. Who am I really? I am in Christ—a sinner chosen by the Father, redeemed by the Son, and sealed by the Spirit. I’ve been adopted into the family of God, am being transformed into the likeness of Jesus, and am held secure forever by the Spirit. Because of these glorious realities, all of my life is in and for Christ.
Whether it’s journaling, blogging, or authoring books, I’ve always loved to write, and I’ve found it a necessary practice to help me work out what I’m learning. Writing lets me flesh out in words how the gospel shapes every part of my identity and womanhood. It also gives me the opportunity to share truth and hope with women I may never encounter personally.
The good news of Jesus Christ offers eternal rest because it enables me to stop striving in my own strength to earn favor with God. Resting in Christ spurs me on to carry out the good works which God prepared beforehand for me to walk in. The catalyst for both deep rest of the soul and God-exalting life work is grace. Gospel-shaped womanhood is powered by grace as God's strength is perfected in my weakness.
Thanks for following along! I pray you are encouraged to look to Jesus.
